This is a portrait of my partner, which I called Summertime Sadness. It isn't necessarily about being unhappy, the title is a song by one of her favourite singers-Lana Del Ray. I painted it along side the Sutton family and Parkhouse commissions. The following drawings are gorgeous pieces of draughtsmanship that Jane recently commenced.

These portraits were among my first commissions through a close friend in Somerset, which was on going for few years between 2008 and 2011. They led to a commission for the Parkhouse family in Devon, which included two single paintings of their daughters and a large 8' canvas, which took about nine months to complete.
